Recently, the film lineup for the "Beijing Screening" section of the 16th Beijing International Film Festival was officially announced. The suspense thriller "Strange House", directed by Wang Bolun and starring Fu Jing, has been selected for the "Audience Choice Film Awards" section and will premiere at the Wanda Cinema (CBD IMAX) in Beijing on April 22nd. As a highly anticipated domestic new release at this year's festival, "Strange House" was filmed entirely using the CHIOPT Ghostly Series zoom lens. With top domestic optical capabilities, it ensures the suspenseful atmosphere, visual quality, and emotional expression of the film, becoming another benchmark case of "science and film integration" in the domestic film and television industry.

The CHIOPT Ghostly Craftsmanship series zoom lens set used in the filming of "Strange House" consists of two lenses: 28-85/T3.2 and 75-250/T3.2, covering a wide range of commonly used focal lengths from 28mm to 250mm. Whether capturing subtle facial expressions in close-ups or creating a sense of environmental atmosphere in distant shots, it can easily handle the task without the need for frequent lens changes, greatly enhancing shooting efficiency, especially suited to the multi-scene, fast-paced shooting requirements of thrillers. As the first domestically developed full-frame zoom film lens set, this series strictly adheres to the optical and mechanical structural requirements of the film industry, boasts 8K ultra-high resolution, and pairs well with a constant aperture of T3.2. Even when fully open, it remains effective, accurately reproducing color layers in the image while effectively controlling purple fringing and flare, ensuring every shot is delicate, transparent, and of superior quality.

Addressing the visual expression challenges of suspense films, the technical advantages of the CHIOPT Ghostly Fingers series are fully showcased: excellent breathing effect control ensures no noticeable shift in the frame when switching focus, maintaining a smooth and immersive thriller shot and preventing the audience from being pulled out of the story; precise parfocal function maintains focus stability throughout zooming, making focus adjustment easier and perfectly adapting to the film's extensive use of tracking and moving shots, following the protagonist's perspective to gradually uncover the truth; soft out-of-focus transitions and strong glare suppression not only highlight the main subject of the frame and create a mysterious and oppressive atmosphere, but also effectively control optical issues such as purple fringing and ghosting, ensuring every frame is delicate, sharp, and well-layered.
